Even though laws have been enacted to eliminate redlining, in many areas this problem still exists. What are the results of redlining as it applies to urban areas across the country? What are some of the reasons that insurance companies engaged in redlining? What are insurance companies doing to stop redlining? What is the FAIR Plan? How does this help (or does it help) prospective insureds obtain insurance? What are governmental and legislative bodies doing to stop redlining? Have any efforts been successful?
